- Tonto National Forest starts more or less at the door
- Trailheads, creeks and the Rim road are all short drives

Dusk
- The gas BBQ grill goes on, everybody drifts outside
- Two wood-burning fireplaces if the evening turns cold
- Payson is fifteen minutes out when nobody feels like cooking

- The new hot tub and the gas fire pit run the evening
- Real dark at 5,000 feet, so the stars actually show up

Tucked into Beaver Valley Estates under the Mogollon Rim, with Tonto National Forest on every side. Three bedrooms, two baths, 2,600 sq ft, and room for ten without anybody sleeping badly. Two kings, a bunk room with two double bunks and a twin cubby, and two sofa beds in the living room that push it to twelve if you squeeze.
