Mara Voss has been photographing the Southwest since 2014 — first as a newspaper stringer, then a decade of portraits, weddings, and commissions from Phoenix to the Four Corners. She shoots digital and medium-format film, edits everything herself, and still prints a favorite frame from every job.
The work is quiet on purpose. No trending presets, no laughter on cue — just honest light, real faces, and the patience to wait for both.
