A small desert hotel that opens like a film. Seven casitas, one lantern-lit courtyard, and the blue hour every night.
You come in off the desert as the light goes low.
Off a quiet road past the McDowells, the lanterns come on one by one. The valet takes the car, the courtyard opens, and the day lets go of you. This is the part of the trip where nothing is scheduled and no one needs anything from you.
Seven rooms, no two the same. Pick your scene.
Then the desert does the thing it does at dawn.
The pool is quiet and warm. Coffee and fresh bread appear in the courtyard without a menu. Walk the garden while the rose light lasts, or do not walk anywhere at all.
Rates change with the season. We hold rooms by phone and by note, one guest at a time.
