Sunliner opened on Van Buren in 1958, back when the highway out front was the only way west. The neon has been rewired a few times and the jukebox finally went digital, but the griddle has never gone cold. We still hand-spin every malt, still cut the fries in the back, and still pour the coffee before you finish sitting down.

Pull up a stool at the counter or grab a booth by the window. Breakfast runs all day, the specials rotate by the weekday, and the pie is whatever the morning brought in.
