Cadence sits below street level, a low ceiling and a lower light, the kind of room that was built for a piano trio and a whispered conversation. No television. No cover most nights. Just the horn, the ice, and whoever is on the stand.
We keep it intimate on purpose. Fifty seats, a standing rail at the back, and a bartender who remembers your drink. Come alone and end up in a conversation, or book the corner booth and disappear for the evening.
The stage is small and the players are not. Resident trios, touring names passing through, and a late set that runs until the last person stops listening. Here is the week ahead.
