Scottsdale’s oldest tavern has been run by the same family since the doors opened in 1959 — back when this corner was the edge of town and Old Town was just town. Two bars, a patio big enough to lose an afternoon on, and a view of Camelback while you do it. Every November the lights go up and stay up through New Year’s. Every February the ballpark crowd walks over and stays past the last out. Sixty-seven years, six in the morning, seven days a week. Nobody has found a reason to change it.
