Almost always, yes — and it's the part of the job we're proudest of. Tell us when you book what sets him off (the dryer, the nails, being lifted) and we'll plan around it: breaks, a quieter time of day, and no forcing. Some dogs take three visits to relax. We'd rather take three visits.
It depends on your dog's breed, size and coat condition — a matted double coat is a very different job from a shih tzu tidy-up. Call with the breed and we'll quote you honestly on the phone, and confirm the price at drop-off before anything starts.
Most full grooms take a few hours from drop-off to pickup, depending on coat and how many breaks he needs. If your day doesn't fit that, leave him with us for day care and pick up a clean, tired, happy dog on your way home.
Shampoo and conditioner, a full blow-dry, haircut and hand-scissored finish, sanitary trim, nail trim, ear cleaning and anal glands. De-shedding, de-matting, dental brushing and flea treatment are add-ons — just ask when you book.
Book ahead if you can — we're open Monday through Saturday, 8am to 4pm, and the good slots go fast on weekends. That said, call us: if there's a gap in the day we'll squeeze a bath in.
